This Refund Policy applies to purchases made on Mentor.lk, operated by Petals Creative Services (Pvt) Ltd. We want you to feel confident purchasing a course or plan — here’s exactly how refunds work.
1. Course purchases
You may request a full refund within 7 days of purchasing a course, provided you have completed less than 20% of the course content. This gives you a fair chance to try a course before committing, while respecting the work instructors put into their material.
Refunds are not available where:
- More than 7 days have passed since purchase
- You have completed 20% or more of the course content
- A certificate of completion has already been issued for the course
- The course was offered for free or as part of a bundle/promotion explicitly marked non-refundable
2. Live classes and Zoom Room bookings
A confirmed live class booking may be cancelled and refunded (or credited back to your hours quota, where applicable) up to 24 hours before the scheduled session. Cancellations within 24 hours of the session, or missed sessions, are not eligible for a refund, as the time slot and instructor availability have already been committed.
3. Instructor plans
Instructor plan purchases (Starter, Professional, Enterprise) may be refunded in full within 7 days of purchase if you have not yet used any of the plan’s hours or features. After that window, or once the plan has been used, plan fees are non-refundable, though you’re always free to let a plan lapse and not renew it.
4. How to request a refund
Email info@mentor.lk with your order details and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method via PayHere, and typically reflect in your account within 5–14 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer’s own processing times.
5. Disputes
If you’re unhappy with a course or instructor, please contact us first — most issues can be resolved directly. Where a purchase dispute can’t be resolved between you and Mentor.lk, it will be handled in line with our Terms of Service.
